Today I voted for women.
Today I voted for a community that accepts me – and has always accepted me – more than my own family has.
Today I voted for immigrants; ALL immigrants.
Today I voted for people who don’t look like me.
Today I voted for the ones who are working hard but don’t have enough free time or money in their bank accounts to show for it.
Today I voted for Mother Earth and everyone living here.
Today I voted for vaccine health.
Today I voted for peace, transparency and positive action.
Today I voted for democracy.
